1950s decorative Triton’s Trumpet shell lamp (Charonia tritonis), supported on a Bakelite and ebonised, timber base

31 cm length of shell (12 inches)       

Condition: Shell originally has had a clear paint or Estapol that since has yellowed over time. The shell apex appears to have had some damage before the clear paint had been applied, otherwise, the shell is in good condition
