Pitcairn Island was settled by the mutineers of the Bounty in the late 18th century whose descendants took up carving to sell on the visitors. This turtle is stamped beneath ‘Pitcairn Island made by Floyd McCoy’.

19.8 cm long (nr: 8 inches).
