John Bosco Tipiloura and Eddie P. Kalantumama established the Tiwi Pottery on Bathurst Island, Northern Territory in the early 1970s, and was assisted by college John P. Kalantumama also a potter. They exhibited their pots through The Pottery Gallery, Sydney through the 1980s. ‘JBT 83’ marks beneath.
