An early, finely carved, pale wood butter press that has been well used, developing a deep, glossy, handled patina. The stamp has a naïve, folk-art cow, in deep relief that stands beneath a tree and style beyond; with a narrow, dimpled rim edge.

Condition: expected ware for age; has an early, repair with a glued crack
