This plater depicts a pelican. Two circles containing a dotted line encircle it near the rim in blackish glaze. This blackish glaze has split and contracted into array of small dots. The clear surface glaze has an unusual effect of raised angular lines, in a network that appear similar to crazing. Engraved beneath: E.P. 1975.
