A carved Mokoy figure sensitively carved rendition of an ancestral folk figure in a pale, lightweight timber, with surface pigmented with reddish brown earth pigment, and with an incised head-band, facial features, and frontal panel depicting x-ray imagery featuring stomach, while back panel is with a bird hunting a small fish. Middle 20th century. Mounted on a timber block support.
Overall height 25.5 cm (n: 10 inches).
