An old Aboriginal bark painting of a goanna lizard depicted with white and yellowish ochre pigments. The origins of this bark are not known, however appears to have similar characteristics to those from the Kimberly area of Western Australia. Artist unknown; age, 1950 or earlier.

Condition: appears to be a fragment of a broader bark. Some loss of ochres particularly on tail. Cracks the result of flattening and curing when first made. An attempt to stabilize a crack need head.
